I personally chose Modern Warfare 2, because it mixes all the newer features with the better, simple, and more wide-open maps. I just remember how long it took me to get bored of it and how addicting it was. Haha now if there was a new World War 2 COD made by Infinity Ward... that would definitely be my number 1. But only one can wish.


Hah and please give a good reason why you picked what you picked! If you are one of those Cod4 bandwagoners and say it's good because it's "classic" or like the "good old days", please give another reason lol.

i would say call of duty black ops havent really played the others except mw3,mw2 and w@w but imo black ops takes it

Yeah maybe cod4 is best because look at bo it has so many problems, it has lag problems, its a bad port of xbox on ps3, it has the worse bullet lag I have ever seen and the software they use to make up for lag on ps3 is dog sh*t also it the movement doesn't even feel like cod its not fast and smooth like cod4 or mw2 the way it suppose to be like an arcade shooter.... Now bo came out in 2010 and they still havent fixed any of these cod4 2007 on launch had no problems and still doesn't and its three years older than black ops..

I doubt it, but after all its a game. People dont respawn after they die in war either. If you want realism, join the army...

People want realism that favors them. Example: quick scoping isn't realistic but it's fun.

Getting hitmarker isn't fair, I shot the guy in the chest with a .50 cal weapon.

Wanting to quick scope equals it's just a game yet a guy not dying instantly by a sniper bullet equals that's unrealistic. Funny isn't it?

As far as COD4, the game wasn't perfect nor near perfect. It was simple yet fun. Simple doesn't make something perfect,it just makes things less hectic.

COD4 had campers, hackers, exploits, martydom,juggernaut. So it had issues just not as many. Newer COD games added boosters, noob tubing to extreme, more lag, more UAV whore vs people stayin off UAV debates. More guns to talk about how "OP" they are.

COD4 had M16,MP5 and AK47 or P90 as the four guns people really claimed were overpowered. So the game still holds up today because there is less shit going on. I'm sure a phone from 2007 could be more realiable than a Droid phone since it had less things going on. Simpler can mean better but doesn't mean perfect.

I enjoyed my brief time with COD4 but once I got to play MW2,i didn't want to go backward. I will say, I might buy COD4 off ebay soon to get an extra prestige token and get some good ol sound whoring going :carling:

And thats more Overpowered than the UMP on mw2?.. I don't think soo.
I played hardcore on W@W and no one used the mp40, everyone used the stg or the m1a1.

M1A1 the best gun in the cod series.

MW2. Without the hacking bullshit and all, I found it a great game. Fast-paced, Pretty good guns, and there's something for every occasion ish. Mw3 is a VERY close second for me. It's really balanced, it's new (who doesn't like new things) and the Customization for Private matches won it for me. You can do any type of gamemode you want and just screw around with your friends. BOps I found slow.......

I never said cod4 was perfect, I have never played a perfect game. I like a lot of games better than cod. Thats another thing I hated in black ops no sound of footsteps and when they put them in they where not great sound quality and sounded like a person was coming from every direction.
