But cmon, they nerfed it now and even though people hate it, im PRETTY sure some that are hating on it still uses it.
I personally like this gun for CQB combat // But MP9 is better :p FMG9 is really good (people think its OP in close range) but why do you think they call it Machine pistols? Its MADE for CQB; Its even better with Akimbos. But its not OP when it comes to long range. All of the other Machine pistols have longer range than it... Making it not OP anymore.

Id still like to hear your opinions though.

No sir, they are still OP regardless.
Yes they're made for CQC, but have more than enough power to dominate most, if not all, CQC gunfights. As a matter of fact, the FMGs dominate even most of the primary SMGs.

Due to the ridiculous firerate (the highest of all the machine pistols) of the FMGs, they are still quite deadly at medium range.

I also have speculation that they were, at first, accidentally buffed by 40%. The latest patch/hotfix nerfed them by 50%. So really it's a 10% nerf from its prime, which isn't really much of a nerf.

EDIT: Correction. It isn't a 10% overall nerf. The 50% nerf of the currently buffed gun reduces it to a lower state than the prime. Regardless, the gun is still OP.

I mean the gun is cool. I just feel like as good as it is. You shouldnt get the gun untill like level 75. imo

The fmg9's shouldnt even have been put in the game.

As I have stated I only hated it when bums use it. They run around spraying mindlessly getting 1 or 2 kills tops then dying.

There is nothing wrong with rushing around with a primary, and switching to them when ammo is low.

That is my same opinion on the Striker users. If you can beast with it fine. But don't run around trolling people. Knowing you aren't good and trying to get lucky kills...

No one's a shitty player when you have two guns that have 2068RPM combined.

It's the fact that people just spawn and pull them out, and they are better the some primary's.

Guns, perks,attachments(besides MW2 Noobtubes) will make a shitty player good. You think every FMG user beasts? The majority don't. I mean it's like any powerful weapon. It scrubs hands, it'll yield a few more kills and piss you off. But in a decent players hands, it's rape time...

I agree about it being OP...

But I did find someone who used them quite frequently in a lobby and asked him why he used them so much.

He said: "Because I'm a beast and I'm using a beast weapon"
