If we're being blunt, the multiplayer experience is functionally identical today as it was before the last US Presidential election.

Numerous studios worked on Modern Warfare 3. Multiple companies. Let that sink in. Creative powerhouses composed of some of the industry's greatest talent put their heads together to make...the same thing.

Most people don't really play Call of Duty games for a new experience. If people want something new, they can find another game.

IMO, the farther Call of Duty gets from its roots, the worse it will become.

This is true to some extent but IW has shown that they are not even willing to put in a shred of effort before churning out another sequel. Realistically the only thing different between MW2 and MW3 is the addition of proficiencies which are just a fancy way of saying a fourth perk and a slightly updated killstreak system. Honestly I don't expect them to break any new grounds graphically as consoles have hit their limit but I would like to see improvements in other areas. Connection issues have plagued CoD ever since P2P was introduced and it would be nice to see dedicated servers return. Perhaps some new game modes, not some shoddy team deathmatch substitute jacked from Crysis 2. More dynamic maps such as Wetwork from CoD4 would be appreciated. Other than that they could work on minor quirks such as not being able to see your feet while looking down.

i dont want cod to change, maybe a couple mini fixes would be nice... but i can see how its hard for them to bother changing when they've made so much money off the current settings....

instead i want a totally new game. something i'll be heavily addicted too... and i see nothing from the new games that are coming out, even as i highly anticipate bioshock infinite i'll plat it and move on....

They don't have to change much. I like what the guy said about why even release another cod game next year ? When Elite has been introduced , the can just continue to update and make money that way , not spit out a c/p game.

If they would have just released Elite this year and giving us new guns , killstreaks and maps via elite but playing on your Mw2 disc I would have bought Elite instead of a new game.

I couldn't believe how they kept the same challenges from MW2. I mean damn they couldn't even put the Reaper or Osprey in the challenge system so you can get the 1000 kill title. But have the basic ones from mw2. Most of the titles and emblems are from mw2. They could have updated some of that stuff but didn't. They added the lag and it screwed everyting up.

They wont make any BRAND NEW games in this frachise as long as they're making bank with this one. It will eventually get old and over done, but for now people will buy and play it, including me... Although it is starting to get lame, espicially with Clan Operations not working. Battlefield might slowly, Starhawk in summer anyone?
