Bowling talks about how money hungry Activision had become and was against it.

Read it here: You must login or register to view this content.

My Take: It had already been brought up that Bowling wanted to bring some throwback maps and how he would have liked them to be free, but seeing as how Activision had become more for the money, I think they did not allow him to do it. He chose rather to get away from it all then continue on with something he was against. Robert Bowling did right I say, he stood up for what he believed in, much respect.

i kinda thought bowling wasn't happy with the way activision has been treating customers. Wouldn't surprise me if more followed him. COD is all about money now to them

Elite was a real money grabber, such a disappointment for the Ps3 community. Maybe if others follow it could lead to some change, who knows.

I hope Activision won't renew the contract this year.. I'd love to see the fun Call of Duty franchise be equal on platforms and PC. That'll make Elite worth my money. Plus, we'll have to see if Activision favors money or appreciation. Based on Elite, we'll have to hope for the best.

But from that, you can infer that they were. If their priorities were money, it makes sense that they wouldn't want to release a free pack.

Finally an employee of Activision realses it's NOT all about the money. Maybe in the future they will wake up and put a little more heart into their games.

The mindset they seem to have is "what will make us the most money?" and it should be "what will the players want and how will we do it for them?"

Goob job Robert, hope everything works out for you in the future.

That's capitalism for you, if it makes profit so be it.

the thing is that they are such money whores that they said "everyone" will get the map packs monthly on both consoles at same time at cod xp but then when elite and premium etc was released it was said the ps3 members still have to wait for the map packs... which is total money whoring activision.
