You have to repeatedly join and back out of a game very fast until the point of lag... or where it takes a little longer the press the playlist mode you are trying to join. Once you have joined and backed out ( i would say a good 10-15 times should do the trick ) join one last time and wait for people to join you. If you join them, back out and repeat the steps.

I may do a tutorial on how to use the net tools lag switch and become host. This is just the easiest way.

That does not guarantee host, it just allows you to create a lobby. If you don't have a sufficient upload speed then the game will select a new host once the lobby is ready to start a new game.

I do this just so I can get a good connection (you have to keep backing out if it goes over <75 MS Ping)
Always get host though, but it's cause my connections beast.

And who wanna be host in MW3?
There is lag compensation in MW3 , if you're host in MW3 , you have framedrops/lag or whatever it's called in 1vs1 gunfights
