Post: Idea in regarding to challenges.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am quite an adamant Search and Destroy player and challenge doer.? The only problem I have is getting things such as 2500 kills with a certain gun. I was thinking that instead of doing it terms of actual kills, have it weighted like the points are. For example, domination would get half a kill towards that challenge while SnD gets 5 kills toward the challenge for every actual kill they get. The same would go for headshots.

Honestly, that's the worst idea.. Who would want to play Domination at all for the kills challenges when a kill is counted as half. Really, does that seem fair? :yuno: 2500 kills with a gun is literally easy, if anything it should be more so its actually worth something to those that want it.

Thats what I was thinking too, but having a kill in SnD worth 5x as many points, in terms of score, but the same in terms of kills is ridiculous as well. Perhaps only increase SnD?/

Then that's overkill. I can average nearly 10 kills per SnD game, so that means I can get the 2500 kills title in 50 games, requiring less than 10 mins in game time per game? Nah, its fine as it is, or better yet increase it to make it harder..

Geez, the game is easy enough, there's no need to make it more "noob friendly"..

How about this. On average when I get to level 30 on a gun, I have 167 kills in SnD. Give or take 50. When I get to level 30 playing TDM, I'm around the 500 mark. 500/167 is about 3 so make 1 kill about 3x as many for SnD.
On a semi-related note, MW3 makes SnD players look worse than they are because getting a score of 1000 (In the lobby screen) is amazing, but in TDm etc. that's barely what noobs beat. It does make the average score per game look like shit. Just sayin

You choose which game mode you play, if you want the titles then choose a game mode that enables you to get more kills, Plus it would take the creditbility away of '2500 kills with this weapon'

That's a pretty ignorant approach wouldn't you say? Wouldn't an equal opportunity for all players regardless of which mode they play be the most reasonable? It's hard enough to get the challenging/prestigious titles in Search as it is.

Why is it ignorant? It is 2500 kills that means 2500 kills. Equal opportunity huh? no one says you have to play search and its not like search kills don't count :confused: If it was weighted 3x that would be around 833 kills for a 2500 title, pretty silly sounding now huh? I fully understand you like search that is fine but 1 kill in search is no more of a kill than a kill in tdm, dom, ctf or any other game mode. If you want to get the 2500 kills in search you need to either a) get more kills or B) Play TDM, DOM or some other mode.

If anything you are the ignorant one for not realizing how stupid this really is.

How is this stupid? In MW2, you had to get kills to unlock things for your guns, but on MW3 you earn experience which is weighted by which game mode you play. Why would they change that if not to help level the playing field (amongst gamemodes)???
All I want is for them to expand this weighted experience to other aspects of the game. I personally don't feel it is stupid and I apologize if I am being ignorant :fa:

Should you get more gun xp for search and destroy? Absolutely yes. But you said have kills count for more which I don't agree with.
