So my friend on PSN recently participated in a lone wolf for Call of Duty Elite. The prize was a Elite care package that came with an Elite sweater, shirt, water bottle etc. He is the leader of NsTy Krew on Elite so he asked me and 4 others to help him win it. It was for kill confirmed so we all got into a KC match and everybody except my friend were not picking up tags, just simply killing while my friend got the most captures. When the operation ended, my friend actually won with over 900 tag caputures. BUT When he got on the next day, he was deranked! (BTW he was 15th prestige, never boosted). He said that Activision reset his stats because of "Boosting". Now i know what boosting is, but I AM 100% sure that this is not boosting! It was simply my friend with 5 other good players doing a simple tactic to win. He was outraged when he found out. Thats when I started thinking that Activision acted irresponsibly towards this. ALSO the weird thing is that he is currently first place in the operation. IF ANYTHING they should have at least kicked off the operation leaderboard BUT NOT DERANKED!

PLZ GIVE COMMENTS ON ANY WAY TO HELP!

P.S. He had almost 20 days played WITHOUT Boosting.

it's boosting if you have other people purposely assist you in getting an achievement :dumb:

I believe it is when the other people are on the other team. This is not boosting in any way. Sure he did'nt "lone wolf" his way to the top of the operation and sure, he should have gotten disqualified, but not deranked. It's Call of Duty, and we had an elite team. Nothing "Boosting" about it.

Ha yea AND i just recieved a message from him. He said he recieved his prize email. WTF? he's still getting the prize but they reset him?? COD Elite FAIL!

How do you know he hasn't boosted before? Maybe this is not boosting but Activision would have looked at his previous games and he may hve boosted in the past.

Boom there you go that is clear cheating in my book, you say it yourself. He didn't lone wolf the operation.

It's obviously unrelated to the lone wolf operation if he's still getting the prize. He probably boosted some other time and got reported.

He boosted before for levels then but not for the challenge.
