Weapon rebalance:
Assault Rifles (buffs) - FAD, M16A4, AK47
SMG's (buffs) - UMP45, MP5, PM9

It's about time!

Are you kidding me!? I just got every AR & SMG in gold barely! now they buff some of the awful weapons like m16 & pm-9 :FU:

The FAD? Here comes another famas, when they boost the damage and range, sad but that gun will be better than the acr, plus more ammo, and the ability to run faster with it.

Guns still sucked after trying them last night

IMO there making this game backwards... instead of removing stuff there only making things better.

and they are way too late in the game to be patching stuff

What? Why wouldn't you try to make other guns better for more balance instead of making guns worse?

I mean I guess a pessimistic/chicken shit way of looking at it would be more guns to get killed by.

I look at it as more guns to kill WITH.

Judging by the IW employees on twitter they're working on it still, they just announced that a new hotfix was up, I'm guessing they thought they'd buffed them when really they hadn't.
Perhaps they actually are buffed now.
Remember when they said they were nerfed the FMG9's but they actually slightly buffed them? Same thing here really.

Update:
seems like it is now online i tried the M16 and its awesome. On close range you need only 2 body shots (NOT BURSTS) to kill. On medium range 3 and on long range 4. Also rate of fire got buffed and with the rapid fire attachment you can go on a mad killing spree. In my opinion its now even better as the type 95 cause that gun sucked on long range. Basically it went from garbage to extreme lethal.

Yup the fix is finally in and the guns are awesome now
