The final round of Modern Warfare 3 DLC for Call of Duty Elite subscribers on Xbox 360 has been released, but Xbox Live users are facing difficulties downloading it.
According to the online service's status page, "users will have issues accessing new MW3 content.
"We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue," Microsoft added. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience."
Call of Duty's UK community manager also said on Twitter: "Things have been done a little differently for our ELITE drop in this instance. No idea on the length of the delay though."
CoD multiplayer fans who have been underwhelmed by MW3's Face Off and Spec Ops DLC should be looking forward to the final Elite offering, which consists of three new online maps: Gulch, Boardwalk and Parish.
They're scheduled to be made available to non-Elite subscribers on Xbox 360 tomorrow, September 6 as part of Content Collection 4, which also features Offshore and Decommission, maps Elite users received access to in July.

While it is good to know this information, I barely play MW3 anymore, so this doesn't really affect me.
Hopefully they will work it out.
I like how they lied to us again about the DLC for this game. I (and many many others) thought we'd be getting titles and emblems as DLC as well, hell MAYBE even a new gun or two (which DESPITE their claims, is 100% possible, look at BF they do it all the time, in every game), but no. Just more and more shitty maps.
Although I will say, Chaos Mode, and Survival Spec Ops is fun as hell.
Hopefully they will work it out.

No not at all, not by a long shot.
There's only two things I can say honestly.
BF Rules at DLC and graphics. (Maps GUNS AND VEHICLES)
Cod blows at graphics, and DLC. Ohh maps, look the fuck out there
.COD blows BF away in numbers and has Killstreaks which entice players.
BF can't seem to match the numbers COD draws in, and have stated many many times, that they don't ever intend to add KS's of any kind.
Until COD can add more DLC other than just maps, and BF can add KS's, neither will truly be the ultimate FPS. Sad thing is, first one to do whichever of the two options there wins.

No now that's where I disagree. Tanks and Jets should stay out of COD. It's just not their demographic and BF has it on lock down. Just look at W@W.
What COD needs to do is make gun DLC, but they refuse to. Say it's impossible for their franchise which is complete bullshit. BF and other games do it, so why can't COD. That's all they need to completely overtake and rule the FPS market.
