It really makes no sense. It is however, a lot easier to jump into them since there are no leaves blocking branches. It also would make nice hiding spot if it happened in multiplayer. So yeah, maybe not the most impressive glitch ever, but it is kinda interesting, and maybe it could help access other glitches.
