I have been trying to do this pull-out-the-cord-and-be-next-prestige glitch for some time now and no matter how many different times I try it, when I turn my PS3 back on, I'm at the same level. I have had no problem bypassing the patch and im positively sure that I'm doing it right as I have done this glitch with another account I used to have. There is no reason whatsoever that i can think of as to why this isn't working so I am asking anyone who might know what might be going on here. In case you need to know, all of my patches are deleted and my PS3 is the original version (not a PS3 "slim"). If you have any clue as to why the glitch isn't working please post a comment below...

i have this same problem :'( even paid other people to to it for me, still no luck.

certain accounts do not work this cud be down to the time when ur account first played cod5, when ur account is from (maybe) there is no definate answer

im PRETTY sure NOT POSITIVE but i think you need to have absolutely no trophies for this to work. not sure
