I performed the jump, it was done on PC (but Daft found it).
It's VERY hard
well hard for me anyway, it took over an hour... it's not that hard to land on the spot, but to land without dying is - you've got to sort of hit it like a bounce, so you "slide" a bit.
I think it will be possible on xbox/PS3 because the maps are generally the same.

Oh i've found a few of them soft spots / slidey things on some other maps, I think I know what u mean. Looks easy, but will be very hard
