try and get the best internet service in your area and then you will probably host a match almost every try. this is also why im getting a new internet service in 2 days, and because it lags a lot.

IMHO there is a slight benefit in reaction timing if you are the host

Yeah it seems as if there is no lag whatsoever. so what your seeing is actually in real-time, no lag.

If your in a game and you only have 2 yellow bars connection, chances are your shooting at somebody who isnt even there anymore. Makes a big difference.

A good way of knowing if your hosting is checking your connection, if you have full connectivity then the chances are your hosting.

Also when you enter a game and it says waiting for players, and your the only one there...then people start entering, usually you end up being the host for that game.

Its not 100% accurate though...
