PS3: To test for yourself go to display settings located under settings than go to video output should say current resolution 1080p,1080i (if its already at 720p or if it's at 480i/480p don't read this)
Next click on that should say: HDMI

it will ask you select a setting method chose custom

NOW only check off 720p. 480p should be automatically checked
click right than X than click down to finish it will save
Try out call of duty !
If you don't like instead of clicking custom click Automatic that will bring it back to what it was b4
