no, you can do the same thing as MW2, clear out entire gsc, rename it & the game will load the original one from disc.. leaving you with an entire gsc space...
i know the theory, but haven't used it yet.. all fits in the rank.gsc up till now..

I found the weapons.gsc finally lol, i kept missing it when i was looking through, I'm gona get the offsets tonight and write them down
