you should be able to keep the map packs, but when you restore a backup, they won't be activated..
you'll have the files (which is actually all you need to mod the map packs) but you'll have to transfer (or update) to 3.50 & activate them in PS Store

So since I have to downgrade, which will format my HDD, it's useless...
