its only a sugestion could the ray gun be replaced by the wunderwaffe as i havent seen the ray gun in any trailers

The ray gun is still there!

If you read a article by one of the testers it says:

"The wunderwaffe DG-2 has limted ammo, theres no spray and pray with this baby! if you have a ray-gun in your arsenal then this combo is top notch!"
