I haven't been on in a week but I had trouble with this too. I did find a little area you could still stay in but I don't know about now.

you have to crouch after you hit the bounce. Its not patched

try jumping from a lower point,halfway down.
work still fine. i get shot verry quick up there.
easyer to get behind the water.
