Get a firmware that has a 3.70 spoofer on it then put that on the 3.55 PS3. Then just data transfer from the 3.70 ps3 to the 3.55 Spoofed PS3. Look in the PS3 Exploits and Hacks section for 3.70Spoof firmware.

try deleting the patch from game data utility and reinstall it

You download the maps from Karoolus's maps thread, which are .pkg files, Install the .pkg files on your ps3, then modify the patch.ff's with FTP, then you data transfer and reactivate the maps.
