Multiplayer Tips

Core
Team Deathmatch
Gun Selection:
If you want to camp I recommend only using one of the snipers since the regular rifles take a while to actually kill someone in core. And it HAS to be scoped since the designers decided to make the unscoped one do less damage, plus you can see farther away with a scope. If you play it normal then I suggest you DON'T play with any machine guns, shotguns or rifles. On some levels you pretty much have to snipe so it's fine to do that then, but otherwise you should use one of the submachine guns. Having the Extended Clip is a MUST, since it allows you to reload less and do what some people call "spraying" (nonstop firing at someone that doesn't really let them do anything).
In Game Strategy
If possible try to play with GOOD friends here, since kills to deaths DO matter. On open maps, DO NOT run out in the open.Don't stay in the same spot. IF you have a mic, then USE IT, because if you have a team that communicates saying where they died by and by what it can so it helps others get him. DON'T USE JUGGERNAUT, because it makes it so you get used to that extra padding so if you play normally for once you will get raped. A good habit to learn is to fire from the hip since then it gives you the advantage of being able to fire at your enemy faster, and this is why steady aim is so important. And a crucial thing is to know is that you should only reload when your clip has 1 or 2 bullets left, or if you can hide quick behind cover to be able to reload.
Team Objective Modes
Gun Selection:
On Objective modes the whole point is you have to GO OUT and do something. So camping won't do you any good. Here I think machine guns are actually fine if you want to like camp around the HQ or Flag. But by far the best thing to have is a submachine gun with an extended clip. Bandolier is always good, but in these modes betties and satchels are fine too. Frags X2 is also acceptable since it can help if they are capturing something and you can't see them yet.
In Game Strategy
In Team Objective modes you have to normally cover all different places so it is always best to have your team split up so the other team can't just mow you down, and then for things like HQ your team can get them all faster.It works best on these modes to try NOT to capture them by yourself however as it takes a long time to capture and it's easy for the to see you capturing things, but not the other way around. So you should camp AROUND it, and only try to capture things if you have a group with you.
Search and Destroy
Gun Selection:
On large maps you most likely want the mp40, thompson or the stg with a silencer so others won't be able to find you on their radars. On smaller maps like dome I like to have the MP40 w/ dual mags then bomb squad, stopping power and extreme conditioning. On core you don't really have much of a choice to do anything but use the type 100, thompson, mp40 or the stg.
In Game Strategy
On smaller maps I like to run around the edge of the map quick to go by their spawn and shoot them right away. That can normally get you at least 10 kills per match. On the bigger maps I just camp it out watching the base I'm by or if am on the team with the bomb I like to run out along the edges and then attack the closest bomb. When I camp by the bomb I sit there typically having betties by me, and then it is critical though to have one friend camping by the other bomb and have a mic to tell you if something is coming. If you are the last person left and the other team has people left with the bomb planted, then run up along the edges of the area with the silenced weapon picking them of when you
see them, and always wait to reload until absolutely necessary.
HardCore
Team Deathmatch
You can really use ANY gun you want, but just play to the guns strengths. Like with rifles, machine guns and snipers you will want to camp. In hardcore Juggernaut is kind of pointless, and you don't need stopping power. So the best perk is sleight of hand in this. Bomb squad is pretty helpful since most people decide to camp in it and have betties all over.
Here is actually where second chance is actually useful. Have your friends all have it so you can revive each other and have WAY less deaths, and with this it's way easier to get kills in hardcore. DON'T have martyrdom since it WILL kill your teammates more than enemies.
Team Objective Modes
Gun Selection:
Whatever you want. It really doesn't matter as long as you feel comfortable with it and you know the guns limits and what it can do. Just remember that you should have sleight of hand and second chance. The rifles work the best though for camping BY FAR.
In Game Strategy
Stay back a lil' bit from the action so you don't die from all the grenades, Satchels and random spraying. In hardcore it is MUCH easier to die so staying back and camping is IMPORTANT. It can be challenging with so many people in it so by staying back from the objective you can just rack up kills with less deaths.
Search and Destroy
Gun Selection:
I would say that you should use any rifle or any submachine gun. I personally like to use the gewher or the PPSH. The PPSH has a lot of bullet spray so it is more likely to hit an enemy, and it has a high rate of fire.Rifles can get pretty beastly since they have decent clip size with good range and on hardcore take only 1 or 2 shots for a kill.
In Game Strategy
On EVERY map I just stay back and wait for the other team to come at me. Since on hardcore you die so easily and when you move even a tiny bit you expose yourself to being killed. When you do move to somewhere you want to be on the sides not in peoples views, but when you see someone you MUST go all out sprayin since you can also die a lot easier. And on Courtyard you almost ALWAYS want to go to the bomb on the side since it's behind more cover and the fastest to get to.
Final Tips
You should try playing music when you play since it can typically be calming, I typically listen to lil wayne or young jeezy. Bandolier IS a great asset to have in any mode since it gives you more ammo to build streaks. In the options menu change your button layout to tactical to snake better and turn the sensitivity up to see around corners and turn around faster. To build up big win streaks go into sabotage and just plant it right away, and if you lose sign off and then you can build up a huge win streak FAST. Build up your k/d by playing in groups with friends so you have a better team, and then you will die less.
