Everytime I get host using my lag switch, it takes forever for people to join. I can get host using my ethernet cable, and people join in a flash, but not when I go wireless. I know my connection is good because I pick up host alot when the lobby migrates.
Does anyone know how to try and fix this. I went from a WPA connection to WEP. I enabled UPNP and it doesnt help much. Anyone have a clue?
Cause I'm willing to bet my 10th prestiger that hes trying to lag for host so he can do bootcamp or just so he can lag in a match. He will probably still get owned. That is something wrong.
wireless connection is not as good as ethernet.
if you're using a lag switch to become host that means you probably don't have such a great connection in the first place...
my idea is that your connection is not good enough to get players into your lobby.
yes the small distinction between wireless and ethernet make that difference.
this happens 2 me aswell i get host then i have 2 wait ages for ppl 2 join then eventually when there is enuf if migrates host , it dunt count up 1,2,3,4 it just says it then instantly migrates of me i cant understand it has its the same on wired/wireless and i have 20mb connection and i have friends that can host hu hav 6-12 mb connection WTF
