I am also going to post this on the Co

W@W forums.
Hi All. I personally enjoy playing Nazi Zombies and have learned quite a few tricks about the new map "Der Riese".
In the new map Der Riese, there are new additions to the scenery. These are scientifically engineered teleporters that were made by Dr. Maxis (Sam's Father) and quite possibly Edward Richtofen. There are 3 teleporters in this map, all one-way trips to the same place, the Mainframe.
When you arrive, you spawn at the Mainframe and before you may use the teleporters you must first unlock the doors and/or debris blocking them. For teleporter A, go to the right of the mainframe (when looking at it), then open 2 "750 point" doors and 1 "1250 point" door. For teleporter B, go to the left of the mainframe (when looking at it), then open 3 "750 point" doors and 1 "1000 point" debris. For teleporter C, choose either left or right and open 2 "750 point" doors, 1 "1000 point" debris and 1 "1250 point" door (The mystery box and electricity is on the way). At each teleporter you hold "X" if you're playing xbox or "Square" if you're playing PS3. You then have 25/30 seconds to have someone hold "X" or "Square" on the mainframe. This links the teleporter to the mainframe for future use. Without this step, you may not use the teleporters or the Pack-a-Punch (needs all teleporters to be linked). There are many ways to get to the teleporters as well, so this way is not needed depending on your strategy.
Tip: If playing multiplayer, you may save a crawler or one at the window and have one member already standing on the mainframe so no running is needed. If playing single player this does not work.
During play, the teleporters are a very handy tool. They cost "1500 points" for one teleport which is pretty expensive but can save you out of life threatening situations. In the early rounds (I believe before round 20 [If that is incorrect someone please correct me!]), if you take the teleporter you may get one of the five powerups.....(Carpenter, Ka-boom, Insta-Kill, Double Points and the preciousMax Ammo! I have seen many groups make a crawler or hold one at the window and take the teleporter over and over again until they get a max ammo.
This same strategy can be flawed by using it too many times. After 20 teleports or so (Don't know the real number or if it matters. Help!)or in the later rounds, you may hear Sam's voice after the teleport saying "No Treat for You" and you will not get a power up........OR A DOG WILL SPAWN! Also in the later rounds/after many teleports, 4 dogs (in 4-man multiplayer) will spawn every time and you will still have a chance to get a powerup. This seems to be the best way to get a max ammo other than from dog rounds. But you still must have enough ammo to kill the dogs. Yes. Insta-Kill does affect the dogs and will help.
This strategy helps a lot once you're overrun. My friends and I use it whenever we are around the early 30s. Run to a teleporter and fight off as many zombies as you can activating an electric barrier on the way. When you're overrun again, activate the teleporter.....and the element 115 used to create the teleporter will kill any zombies that come in contact with it as well as any zombies at the mainframe. Then run to the opposite teleporter or any other teleporter that you can manage to get to. Rinse and repeat. We have managed to scrawl out 4 rounds out of this strategy.
I hope you enjoyed this guide! Any questions/remarks welcome as well as clarifications to the numbers before the dogs start spawning.
P.S. I do believe the dogs are clones of Fluffy, the first test dog put into the teleporter and also Sam's pet. Fluffy was suspended in a moment of time, and when you look at the clock near the mainframe, the heroes are also stuck in time.
Hope this helps!!
