might be because you had bought the map packs before you played. somehow my data got corrupted and i still had zombies even though all my death cards and story mode levels were gone.

There was a update along time ago, which allowed people to have access to nazi zombies, without playing the campaign.

Everyone can play zombies without beating the campaign since before map pack 1. Question has been answered.
