You join a Match & before it ends or in the middle of it, you have 0 Kills & 12 Deaths.
Now you have to go, so you quit the Match.

Q: Does your K/D Ratio reset back to its score when you first joined the Lobby and went into the Match, or does the 12 deaths add onto it even though you left before you lost/won?

Yes It Does Restart As Long As You Leave Be4 The Game Ends. +REP

Leave the game before it ends and your K/D Ratio will reset, but your Points won't obviously.

no it doesnt restart .. if your k/d is 1.47 u get0 kills 1000 deaths u keave before end u get plus 1 loss and ur k/d will go down .. like wen ur on a winstreak the games ends a a draw ur winstreak is gone .. wen u join in a search and u loss as soon as u join in its a loss .. pritty stupid but hay xD

The first two guys are idiots... It doesn't reset. The game would be total madness if you could just leave the game every time you got a bad K/D. However, If you sign out of PSN, it won't count.

No there is no way it resets if you leave. You get a loss and the deaths are added to your total.

Don't listen to the first to guys. They are posting BS and they have no clue.

I don't play World at war much but I know it's the same as CoD4. Your kdr would go down.

BUT, if you sign out using Account Managment before the game ends, then it won't count your kills or deaths, but you will get XP for however many kills you got.

e.g. I killed 6 people but died 10 times. The game is going to end in 1 minute so I press the PS button and sign out. Then I sign back in, when I press Select, it says that i have recieved 60xp(for the kills), but on the left it says I have 0 kills and 0 deaths.

When you sign out like this, it says on someone elses screen that you timed out. It doesn't count your deaths as when the game lags like hell you normally time out so it doesn't count your kills or deaths

the only time it resets is if your connection kicks you out of live or if you turn off your console
