(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys, i'm planning on getting a cheap capture card like the easycap but i don't want to play in SD on a HD tv. So I decided to think of a way to play in HD and record in SD. Here is what I came up with. Unfortunatly i do not own an easycap yet so I'm not 100% sure if it works but it seems quite possible. If there is anyone who would like to give it a go, please write back and say if it works.

what you will need is:
HDMI cable
HDMI Splitter cable - You must login or register to view this content.
HDMI To component cable - You must login or register to view this content.
And a easycap or dazzle
easycap is around 10-20 pounds
dazzle is around 40-60 pounds

how do you get the 5 rca cables from the hdmi-compenent into the three of the easycap???

this wont work... as Dazzle and Easycap are Composite... not component

if your laptop/desktop has hdmi input.put hdmi splitter out in the tv put one hdmi to the splitter other side to computer then one to splitter one to xbox/ps3:black: =D
