Currently I'll have to settle with iMovie since I have a mac and Final Cut Pro is amazingly hard.
In the future I want to get a good PC and edit with Sony Vegas Pro.

Yes Sony Vegas works on any windows platform. It is definitely my editing program of choice, a little difficult to learn at first but once you know the basics you can do SO much with the program! Plus Sony Vegas Pro 10 was just released and they added a feature where you can go frame by frame by just using a button.
