This wont give them founder status, Just normal elite. Which I don't think even gives the map packs. (Not the BOUGHT elite), but the sample elite.

i tried linking to my freinds xbox but he said he got the normal elite(i have premium and founder)...so i dont think it will work

Founder stats only gives Other camo, and Clan 500xp. Premium Elite gives maps and shit.
