No, older content can't be gameshared 5 times. If he gameshared with 5 people before the update, they would all keep it, but now only 2 different PS3s can be activated with his account

That doesn't apply to content that was downloaded before November 18th. Anything you download after the update will be limited to 2 slots. Anything you downloaded before the update is still 5.
