Just a headsup, if you're from the EU, then the manufacturer (Sony) gives you 1 year of warranty.
But the shop of purchase gives you the second year as to the rights as a consumer to have 2 years of warranty on electronics.
You can take a PS4 in for repairs everywhere the first year, if you can provide the proof of purchase,
but in the second year only the shop you bought it in.
when it comes to the ps4 (i know from experience) it comes with 1 year but also on the PSN they offer extended ones as well. I think 2 or 3 year. if you buy a ps4 you can also get an accidental one for 2-3 years as well (extra 10 USD). I dont know where you are located but I am in the US. That is all i know. I hope that this helped you. Also the PS4 is a power house as well. I just wish that I was able to use my external hard drive to watch movies and listen to music.
