Sony tried to prevent people from game sharing, but you can still do it it's just not as convenient anymore.

So get a friend to do this with and trust me, you're gonna want to do this with a friend you personally know. Otherwise it'll just be awkward. You can play your games on any other playstation 4 you want, but only while you're online signed into your account. So if your friend wants to play your games on his personal account (and vice versa) you have to do this.

Sign in your personal account on his ps4, and activate his ps4, as your primary ps4. Now Sony thinks that you're the "Dad" of that ps4, and will let your "children" (your friend, and whatever other users on that ps4) play the games that you bought on your account, on their accounts. I use the terms "Dad and "children" because this is what Sony was kinda going for. Home sharing in a home, not two adult friends game sharing.

Now have your friend activate your home ps4, as his primary ps4. Now your friend is the "Dad", and will let you (his "child") play the games that he bought offline and online on your personal account. You can even play with each other online at the same time (assuming both of you are on your personal accounts)

The biggest drawback with this setup is that now your home ps4 is no longer your primary one. This effectively makes your personal account on your home ps4 your secondary account. Meaning that to play the games that you bought digitally on your account, you'll have to be signed in to PSN, and your friend can't be on your account at the same time. (Although there's no reason why he would be)

TLAwesome faceR - Get a friend and swap primary consoles. Smile

I tried to explain that the best way I could, if you need any clarification just ask.

The following 2 users say thank you to EpicGuy303 for this useful post:

this is all correct as far as im aware but you need to keep the password the same as if you change your password for your account then obviously they wont be able to use your games and vice-versa if they change their password. thats why you should know the person really well or at least know them in real life to avoid any potential problems
