I baught a 2TB hard disk drive and it works perfectly fine. N you don't need to plug it into the PC to format it to FAT32. Just be sure to use the fresh install update.pup instead of the normal 200mb update.

You can use 6TB but the PS4 doesn't work well with it. You have to turn it on a funny way.
4TB is the highest useable hard drive you can use without any problems.

uh no they don't make a 6TB 2.5 inch internal HDD for the PS4 i only 3.5 inch but that won't fit in a PS4 too big.
