Wondering if there could be things going wrong in the ps4 that I may not currently know about such as screens of death or could consoles be banned or something or has anyone paid around 150 on craigslist for one that was legit.

Consider buying from a retailer or an official site, since if it does end up being broken in a couple of days there's nothing much you can do... I don't own one, but I would suggest buying it from a retailer...

I wouldn't trust Craigslist. I bought my Arkham Knight PS4 for about $450 just a few months ago, so I really doubt the price would drop that extremely in such a quick amount of time.
