the tutorial i recommend from this site is "Hello world"
they will teach you how to make a program that says hello world.. then you can experiment with diffrent things go onto advanced tutorials etc,etc.
they dont just show you a tutorial they tell you what you're actually doing,that means you actually learning.
like me teacher said "copying and pasting is'nt learning" (in other words typing in things you dont even know what you're typing.ok the tutorial is here: You must login or register to view this content.

I recommend using g++ in Linux: g++ sourcecode.cpp -o executablename

If you don't have Linux, you should install cygwin and use g++ in there.

what program do you use in Dev-C++ all you do is goto Execute-compile
