I've been investing much time into looking for the perfect capture card. Since I am new at this, I would like to start with something cheaper, with good quality. And am also looking for a cheap, but high quality video editing program.

The problem I have with Capture Cards: My computer and XBox are in different rooms of the house, and are too far to connect directly.

I am looking for a capture card that can record my xbox/tv, then be unplugged and downloaded onto my computer for editing and uploading. It sounds like it would already be made and easy to find, but I have had no luck (Except for Wireless Transmitter Capture Cards that range from $180-$250, which is too high of a price range for my first capture card.)
