This my friend is the website for you:
You must login or register to view this content.
The only information you will need to Port forward you router would be the brand and model of router you own. You will also need to be able to change your routers internal settings I have a net gear router and I can mess around with the settings by just entering my IP address into the address bar in Firefox and this then brings up a list of settings for my router.
Follow the steps provided on the website and port forward your router for utorrent, once you have done this you should see a significant increase in your download speed and the website also provides a program to check and see if your port is open if you are unsure whether you were successful or not.
Also bear in mind that the seeds you get on utorrent can be shit and this can give you a horrid download speed. I have a download speed of around 150KB/s but sometimes when I'm downloading a torrent it only goes at around 10KB/s because I'm connected to a few shitty seeders.
