(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As the title states how do you put a password on desktop shortcuts so that ony people who know the password can view the link.

Anycase, as far as passwording a shortcut (you really cant) but there are programs out there that can password a folder for you (so unless you know it, the folder is locked. Anycase this is the wrong section for this, but I'd google a folder protector or look for something that locks a selected file.

i remember reading that u could edit the folder and put a password i will try and find the link.
so u could put your shortcuts in a folder ??

That is pretty clean cut and to the point, I don't see how anyone could think that was something other then a question
