(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, I want to connect my new laptop to my playstation 3 for media sharing. I have been able to do this with my vista desktop but have had no luck with my laptop. The laptop cannot find the playstation 3 and vice versa. But my sister has a laptop running windows 7 and I can find it on my playstation 3. The only difference (that I know of) is that my laptop came with a security program pre-installed (which I uninstalled). Any help would be appriciated.

Be sure Windows Firewall has either been disabled or allowed port 21 access.
Should connect fine then.
