Post: vb4 *Help*

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I haven't asked for help much on the forum because I can usually find any of my problems out myself.

But this problem I searched everywhere and couldn't find anything out:

[multipage=Problem]

My problem is that when I install my vbulletin 4 forum I went to configure it and all that, installed plugins etc. But now I realise only 'https://localhost' can load it up.

I tried to visit it on my iPod and it loaded the page but no images and it wouldn't load any link once I clicked them.

Does anyone have an idea to what is wrong here.

I also tried changing some server setting and changed the forum url to my computers local ip once I did that I can connect using my iPod by typing the local ip.

But I knew that nobody else could connect as I used a proxy server to type my web address I made using no-ip (search on google if you don't know it).

I then changed the forum url to the web address and I figured that would work (it did). But the localhost didn't work for me.

I want to make it so I can connect using 'localhost' or my local ip and so others could connect using the no-ip domain (which works fine when connecting to my sites homepage)

I was wondering if I've done something wrong along the way here, I'm not new to installing forums so I know php and smf work but vbulletin I've had the problem with.

Like I said I'm not a noob at running a server or installing forums it's just this is the first time I've installed vb4. I just need some more knowledge on it.

Tech info:

I'm running xampp on linux Smile

Thanks for any help.

My server is set up correctly it's the forum that's the problem and I don't want that don't try to sell me stuff.
