I tried to write a new Simple Volume and I get an error saying that the Disk is not initialized, so, I try to initialize it but then I get another error saying that the disk is write protected. I've tried using all the programs from the WD website to no avail and I don't no what else to do. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium (If thats's any help). Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Vista is shitty. If you have a good PC update to 7. If not, downgrade to XP.

I use Vista and stuff crashes and doesnt work all the time, as stated above. Upgrade or Downgrade to stop things like this happening.
