(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, my GPU (nvidia geforce gt240) only works for about 5-10 mins upon boot and then switches off giving me no signal to the screen. I then monitored its temperature and noticed that for the whole time its around 35 C at idle and after that 5-10 mins working time, the temp starts changing like crazy ranging from 108 C to 0 C while still at idle. So my guess is that the temp monitor is defective and shuts off the GPU when it thinks the temp is too high while its not. So, is there any way to disable the GPU temp monitor r something like that.

I am running Win7 64-bit and yes the fan on my GPU and all that works.
