(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so my question is what kind of graphics card do i need to buy. I wanna buy a graphics card so my hd pvr videos will playback smooth. My computer is a HP Pavilion A706N. I opened it yesterday and it has a brown slot that says AGP below it. Confused i went on google to search it up and on this website it says i should buy a PCI card. I need help and advice. I dont need a top card just one that will playback the videos smooth. Im pretty sure its because of the graphics card that my videos lag during playback or on youtube when i click on 720p. I will put two links down one of my computer and another of the site that says that i should buy a PCI card. My OS is Windows 7. In Windows 7 it looks kind of blurry that is another reason why i need a video card. So my pc can get full resolution. As i got a new monitor.

Another thing i understand is im going to have to buy a PSU, now i checked that video card and it asks for 300-watts. Should i look for a 300-watt or 350 watt PSU.

Well it's not the best video card out there. I do believe you could probably pull off 720p videos.

This is going to sound stupid but what video card are you talking about. If you mean the 2nd link im not going to buy that one i just put the link so you could see that the website says PCI and not AGP. Another thing is i do have 2 white slots open where you can install things now i dont know if i can install a video card there. Maybe that is where i would put the PCI card.
