It can't be a Mac. It must come with Windows or Linux pre-installed.

If anyone can recommend a good, high quality laptop, with a nice, large screen, and lots of memory/power, that might be good for a developer and/or designer, that would be much appreciated.

starting price is ~2000... so i have one. but i dont understand why u wouldnt want mac. its better then any pc/laptop//

I would still go for mac unless you NEED windows, but even if you do im pretty sure you can run windows on macs. I wouldnt do that as i prefer OS X but, its up to you :y:
