Post: Looking for a good gaming PC || Under $1000

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, I am looking to buy a good gaming desktop for under $1000. I am using the desktop mainly for rendering out animations and such in Cinema 4D and I am making the transition to PC gaming because console gaming is boring, and so far I had a lot more fun playing TF2, and Left 4 Dead on PC. Although those are pretty low end games for the computer. I am looking for a computer that could run Dragon Age II, Starcraft II, Fallout New Vegas, and Fable III. The reason that I am looking for a new computer is that my old computer (3 years ago) can barely render out my animations with a decent time, and even with Left 4 Dead, it is a bit choppy. Thanks in advance Smile you guys are awesome Smile

Are you willing to put it together yourself, or are you looking for a pre-built?

I would prefer if it was pre-built

CCCP: AK47 IS THE TOOL
ibuypower.com

dont get any software or os with it, pirate windows to keep costs down and go with amd because it's cheaper and isn't much different than intel.

Just saying, but you can actually save a lot of money by putting it together yourself. But if you aren't tech savvy then ignore this post.

For $1000 you can get a very good PC if you know what you're looking at. The poster who referenced ibuypower is a good start. Try some of the PCs on Newegg.com, there's great stuff in the 500-600 dollar range, IF you know what you're looking for.

Keeping note of what other people said, make sure you focus on a good graphics card, processor (might want to look into quad-cores), and at least 3GB of RAM (You must login or register to view this content. or You must login or register to view this content.).
