I downloaded the game and crack yesterday, played for a while. Later on my AV (Malwarebytes) picked up the SKIDROW.dll as a virus. It said it was a trojan something something, so I removed it.

Anyway today I finally registered my copy of Win7 and it told me to install MSE, I thought okay no harm in that I'll do it. Well, after doing that every time I started up my computer it would load desktop, then have a little loading spinning circle and not do anything until I shut it down.

I finally put it in safe mode and did a system restore and everything is working again, but Dirt 3 is of couse gone. Now I figure because of the way things played out it must have been the MSE causing problems, and the file was indeed a false positive like many people said.

TL; DR = Please check the Dirt 3 crack from the website linked in this post and tell me if it's a false positive or if I should not re-download the game.
