(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Guys, I want to get back into recording gameplay/ doing commentaries with a few buddies of mine, but I have a bit of a situation/ wondering something.

Back when I had my PVR I had a desktop which could handle the PVR. But since then I sold my PVR and bought a Sony F series laptop (VPCF1). My question is, before I go out and buy another PVR will be laptop handle a PVR without overheating?

My laptop has a i7 processor, 1.75ghz, 4gb ram, 650HDD.

Will it beable to handle a PVR without over heating?

You should be more than able to handle it with the specifications listed. What GFX card do you have, though?

Any computer can handle a PVR. But yours is better than recommended.

Would work perfectly. I even did recording with a 1,60 ghz computer with about 1gb ram or 2. Not sure. But that didn't work any well. It wasnt PVR though...
