(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); okay, i'm here yet again (ahem n00b) but i this site is great for answers :wtf:
i just bought a new HP desktop for my home, 1tb Hard Drive, 4gb ram etc. Everything i need basically. And my old pc was sitting there , lookin' lonely, so i opened her up, snatched the extra ram, hard drive and the fan ( 'cause i go through alot of fans for some reason) anyway, i found an old hard drive cooler box thingy belonging to my sister upstairs, and i connected the hard drive to it, but i'm missing the cable for it. i don't exactly know what it is, i'm assuming an old usb or something of the likes, but i can't find one anywhere in the house (even searched the attic  )
Help would be appreciated, i honestly don't know what it is, or if it even is the power source D=

(i think it's the one with the white block in the middle..emphasis on "i think")
Cheers, Mark.

You'll need the a cable like the one on the far right. I think it's called a Standard B plug. Search around on Google and see if you can find one in a store close to you.

It's a USB connector. The power connector's are the cables with yellow and red wires. As for the green thing, I am quite confused as to why that it there. That is usually there to connect an older mouse that doesn't use USB.

Sorry, that's what i meant :carling: once i get that Standard B plug, the LED's on the other side of the case will light up and i'll be able to read the drive, right? Awesome face

Yeah i think i'll just ignore that green thing, i don't think that's on my other cases Gaspkay:

EDIT: the Standard B Plug doesn't provide the power, the green connection does :fa: luckily i found an adapter from that to a USB, so everything's good now Awesome face
