Is there any way of stopping this because it is really lagging my computer :L I wont the game again so i can play with my friends. It also does this with every other file i want to download unless it is a small file.

I'd suggest checking your HDD for errors, it sounds like it could be dying.

you should probably defrag your hdd if not just format it

i reformated it like loads cuz windows corrupts on me all the time with bsod
