I have tried installing mac os x 10.5.5 to dualboot before (I think it was that version) and I installed it by partitioning the HD I boot into 2 parts formatted the mac one into fat32 then, in the mac os x disc i booted from used disk utility and made that drive mac os journel extended (something like that anyway)

I booted it up and it asked me to do about mac time machine and other settings, but once i did them it would go back to the first screen and get no further.

What i would like to know is with my specs can I install Mac OS X Snow leopard 10.X.X (any version) OR OS X lion. If i cant what would be a good pc/laptop i can buy that will install it that is pretty cheap in the UK.
