I dont think theres such think as a DDOS proof server, you can however take precautions to protect yourself

Maybe something like blocking an I.P. that the server is receiving excess traffic from? I think I've heard of something like that... I'll check now and get back to you!

Yeah, I asked my friend and he said "a server with no internet access".

He went on to say something about 'iptables', which is basically what I said about blocking excessive traffic from an IP.
