I want to make my algorithm for encyption (no not a cryptor, an actual algorithm) So where can I learn some basics and what programs do any of you recommend? I know that cryptography is quite hard but I figured why not try it? I also know that if you mess up with any bit of the algorithm then your encryption is basically useless, so I want to know how I can prevent this from happening. Would be great help if you lot could help me find the right path for this. Thank you
